What are the 12 Reflections?

There is a particular space people pass through when their work is changing. It often feels quiet on the outside and busy on the inside. Maybe your thoughts are looping, questions are surfacing. Old ways of working feel less supportive. New ways aren’t quite visible yet. People in this space are usually not stuck; they are paying attention.

They are noticing that something wants to shift. That something in their work is asking for a new shape, a new centre, or a new way of being held. The 12 Reflections were written for this space.

They are simple mirrors that name common moments people experience when their work is evolving. For example, moments such as fog, going round in circles. Like outgrowing an old shape. Like hesitating to choose. Like wanting your work to feel true. Like wanting your work to be held well. Each reflection offers language for something that is often felt before it is understood. Together, they create a map of the in-between stages, as a way of noticing where you are, so you can see yourself more clearly before you decide what comes next.

If you’re sitting in this space with your work and you want help seeing what’s asking to be shaped, the Spark Session is where we look at that together. You can read more about it here.
